9. Can you recommend some restaurants: With good Czech cooking? With good food

Friends and Hedgie members frequently ask for restaurant recommendations in Prague.
Everyone wants charm in a cafe, good food in a restaurant, and a place that is not
mobbed by tourist groups. You may want some good Czech cooking or a special place with
a splendid view. We're ready to share a few of our favorites. Many of these gems are not listed in
the standard sources.
We give you a little background information on Czech cooking, including the
restaurant situation under Communism and the changes since then, plus tips on
the current tipping situation.
